分析仪器的基本结构一般包含四个部分:分析信号发生器、信号检测器、信号处理器和结果显示器。分析信号发生器的作用在于将待测样品中的某种物理或物理化学特征信息产生和转变为原分析信号.原分析信号在信号检测器中被检测并转变为转换信号(一般转变为电信号)，信号处理器将转换信号处理，提取有用信息，成为分析结果信号，输出到起信号表达作用的结果显示器，以图形、数据等形式显示或打印出来.现代的分析仪器一般都配备计算机.具有控制整机的操作、数据处理、储存、检索和显示等功能。
